Studio A | February 13 - April 24 | Fridays, 12 - 2 PM | 10 Weeks
One-Shot Miniature is a hands-on 10-week course where students design, sculpt, print, and paint their own tabletop game characters. Using Nomad Sculpt on tablets, participants learn beginner-friendly digital sculpting techniques to create heroes, creatures, and small-scale models ready for play.
The course covers the full workflow from digital clay to finished miniature, including preparing files for resin 3D printing, cleaning and curing prints, basic post-processing, and foundational miniature painting approaches. All printing is completed in class.
The final session brings everyone together for a collaborative one-shot tabletop campaign, using the miniatures created throughout the course.
Students will learn:
Digital sculpting with Nomad Sculpt
Designing clear, readable tabletop characters
Preparing files for resin 3D printing
Cleaning, curing, and finishing resin prints
Introductory painting techniques for miniatures
Using an original character in a one-shot game session
This course is open to beginners, hobbyists, and tabletop fans interested in digital sculpture and game-ready character creation.
Please bring an iPad or Android Tablet loaded with Nomad Sculpt or one can be provided for in class use. There will be no class on March 20th.
