Jeffery Hampshire
Artist and educator with a background in traditional arts and digital fabrication. Founder of CADKreations.
CADKreations began as a studio focused on 3D modeling and fabrication for custom projects. Over time, that work grew into sharing the process behind making and teaching others how to design and create. Drawing from experience in art and digital media education, it now focuses on making creative technology more approachable through hands-on learning that connects art, design, and fabrication.
Based in the DMV area, our programs collaborate with schools, art centers, and community spaces to make access to digital tools and fabrication more equitable. Workshops are primarily offered throughout Maryland, D.C., and Virginia, with the flexibility to travel for special projects and partnerships.
Purpose
Access to creative technology isn’t equal. Many schools and programs want to teach digital art but lack the tools, training, or infrastructure to support it. This initiative was created to close that gap, providing the equipment, curriculum, and guidance needed to make hands-on digital fabrication possible anywhere.
Process
Our work combines mobility, equipment, and education to make learning digital fabrication approachable. Each program includes the tools, instruction, and adaptable curriculum needed for learners of all ages to explore 3D modeling, printing, and design in a practical, creative way.
Vision
We imagine a future where access to creative technology isn’t limited by cost or location. By building partnerships with schools, art centers, and community programs, the goal is to make digital fabrication part of everyday learning, empowering people to think, make, and create through digital processes.
