This three-hour workshop introduces participants to soft modeling, an approach to digital sculpture that mimics working with clay in a virtual environment. Using Nomad Sculpt on Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE devices (provided by Studio A), participants learn how to shape, refine, and prepare organic 3D forms suitable for printing, rendering, or other digital applications.
The session begins with a live demonstration of Nomad Sculpt’s core tools, followed by guided exercises that help participants explore additive and subtractive sculpting workflows. After initial hands-on modeling time, the workshop shifts into fabrication, walking through exporting, slicing, and preparing models for resin 3D printing.
Workshop Goals
Participants explore:
Soft modeling techniques and digital clay workflows
Creating organic 3D forms for printing and rendering
Exporting and preparing models for fabrication
Supporting and slicing files for resin printing
Tools and resources for continuing 3D modeling work
